What's Happening Around School...
Math Counts-
A team of middle school Mathletes® from TEMS  won the Chester County MATHCOUNTS competition. The members of the winning team from Tredyffrin-Easttown Middle School were Andrew H., David W., Kevin W. and Matthew X. The team was coached by Lisa Stehouwer. TEMS will now advance to the State Competition, to be held in Harrisburg, PA on March 18-19, 2016. Go Bulldogs!

-TEMS Spelling Bee-
Congratulations to John M., our school spelling bee champion who participated in the Chester County Spelling Bee on Monday. John finished in the top 25 of the best 55 spellers in the area making it to the championship round. Way to go, John!

-Geo Bee-
The school wide Geography Bee was completed in January. Mr. Krimsky wishes to thank the 23 students who participated and Mr. Phillips for moderating. Also, congratulations to the following ten students who made it to the final round: Sanjay A., Arjun A., Conan C., Connor L., James O., Sidd O., Leo W., Linc Z., Kevin Z., and the champion was Andrew K. Congratulations everyone!

Williamsburg information
The letter about the trip will be mailed this week. link The first forms will be due Feb 25th. Important Dates , Initial Permission and Williamsburg Academic Requirements. All documents will be available on Ms. Wendy Wilson's website for printing and should be returned to Room 221

-Attention Grade 7/8 parents-
Office 365 Information for Parents
We have completed training on Office 365 for all 7th and 8th grade students. Office 365 provides email, file and folder storage, and productivity software in the cloud via any device with an Internet connection. Students access the website (http://portal.office.com) and log in with their network user name and network password.

3-5pm in the Large Gym

Tickets cost $5 each and will be on sale as follows:
Thursday 2/11-8th graders only
Friday 2/12-7th and 8th graders

Tuesday 2/16 through Thursday 2/18
All students can buy a ticket (until we sell out at 500).
***All proceeds go to the Chester County Special Olympics (through the Valor Bowl)
***Snacks and Drinks will be sold during the game for $1 each.

(This is a half day of school due to parent/teacher conferences).
$22.50 Includes Go Karts, Laser tag, Bumper cars, Krazy cars, Black Light Mini Golf, 500 play pass points for arcade, pizza and salad bar buffet and more!!! $25 cash for walk ins the day of. Link to flyer.

-Save the date for T/E's Got Talent!
On Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 7pm, the Tredyffrin and Easttown communities are invited to watch teachers and staff- from all eight T/E schools - take the stage to perform for their biggest fans ... the students and their parents.  Link to flyer.
*        Online ticket sales begins March 6, 2016
*        All proceeds will benefit ARCH and support their future community programs.

Book Bonanza a Success!...
Thank you all so much for your hard work and support of the Book Bonanza. Despite the snow days, we were able to "recycle" a Large Group Room-full of books across the school! The 7th graders in particular were very enthusiastic. We gave away virtually all the donations the first day!
