Clear Your Bookshelves...
The 2016 Book Bonanza 
is here!! 
We will be collecting books suitable for grades 5-8, 
in good condition, from 
Jan 25-27th. Donation boxes will be placed by the front and cafeteria entrances. On Thursday and Friday, January 28-29th, students can come to the Large Group Room during activity/lunch periods and choose books to take home (regardless of whether or not they donated books). It's Official!...
The 2016 TEMS MLK Casserole Drive broke last year's record. Our goal was to get to 400 this year  and our final count is 432 casseroles. 
Congratulations TEMS!!!
Thanks to all the staff at TEMS who supported us, the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams that got together to make 30 casseroles, the parent and student volunteers that collected and delivered  the casseroles. 
A really big thank you to all the students and their parents that participated in this wonderful project. Please know that whether you made 1, 2 or 10 casseroles your time and effort is greatly appreciated and is the reason that this Drive is so successful.

This year we are not asking for donations for neighborhood baskets. Instead we are encouraging parents to donate paper goods, beverages, or monetary donations to the event or donate your time and volunteer the night of the event!

5th/6th Grade Social...

(This is a half day of school due to parent/teacher conferences).

From the Nurse....


Reminder to 6th Grade Parents-
One hundred twenty-five (125) students still have not turned in a 6th grade PHYSICAL exam report. Pennsylvania School Health Code requires that all students in 6th grade receive a physical examination. Families were informed of this mandate in June 2015, at the end of the school year. If you have not already done so, please have your child's doctor complete a physical exam report and return it to the nurse as soon as possible.

Reminder to 7th Grade Parents-
One hundred seventeen (117) students still have not turned in a 7th grade DENTAL exam report. Pennsylvania School Health Code requires that all students in 7th grade receive a dental examination. Families were informed of this mandate in June 2015, at the end of the school year. If you have not already done so, please have your child's dentist complete a Dental Exam Report and return it to the nurse as soon as possible.
