Attention 7th and 8th Graders wanting to play TEMS Fall sports...

In order for a student to be eligible to participate in PIAA sports, he/she must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined on our athletic program form. Students and parents must also complete all the necessary forms. These forms, which are available in the main office or link to forms, must be returned to the school office before a student can participate in a school sport. Completed Fall 2015 forms should be returned to the athletic office by Friday, September 5.

From the Nurse...

Attention Parents with Students entering 7th Grade-

The Public School Code of Pennsylvania requires all students entering 7th grade to have a dental examination
Examinations completed by a family dentist within one year prior to the start of the school year are accepted for the required proof of such care. The required dental form can be reached at the school district web site under student health services. link to form.

Attention Parents of 6th Grade Students-

Pennsylvania law requires that all students in sixth grade receive a physical examination.
If you have not already done so, please have your child's doctor complete the physical exam report mailed to you last spring and return it to the nurse as soon as possible.
Blank forms can be printed from this link found on the TEMS website under Student Health Services. Thank you for your assistance in meeting these state mandates.
Rose Mary Murphy RN, CSN.

T&E Care School Meal AssistanceProgram

T&E Care recognizes that some families make "just too much" money to qualify for federal free/reduced lunch program.  Tredyffrin/Easttown School District families who have applied for free/reduced assistance for their children and have been denied support may qualify for the T&E Care program that could help you cover some of those lunch costs!

Our program will help put extra money into each qualifying child's meal account each month during the school year.  We are guaranteeing a minimum of $30/month/child to start the program, but in 2014/2015 we funded this at around $30/month/elementary child and $40/month/middle or high school child. It is expected that we will be able to maintain that level for 2015/2016.

Families must first apply for free/reduced assistance through the school district and receive an official denial letter.  Then they can send in an application to our program (download below, or get it from your child's counselor).  We accept applications from families who make up to 300% of the federal poverty level (the free/reduced limit is 185%).  We are willing to discuss short-term assistance for special situations above the 300% limit.

Please note that this program is only for families who:
1 - live in the T/E School District
2 - do not already receive funding through the free and reduced lunch program
3 - have income levels that fall within the guidelines on the application
4 - do not have high negative balances on their children's point of sale accounts when submitting the application.

More information is available on the downloaded form.   If you have a question about the program - Email us at lunchhelp@tecare.org.

There are many ways for parents to

    Stay Connected!

But to do so requires that we have accurate contact information for all of our students and their parents.

Student Verification Sheet, included in the August mailing from the school, is critical. Review it closely.   Please return the CORRECTED sheet to TEMS main office (via the homeroom) within the first week of school.  In addition to generally keeping the school apprised of your student's contact information, this sheet feeds the T/E All-Call Notification System and the E-newsletter database.

Our E-newsletter (e.g. this TEMS PTO blast email) is the primary mechanism for the PTO to distribute important school and PTO information to parents.  These emails (from TEMS PTO) will be coming weekly at least for the first couple months.

The Weekly Bulletin is the school's communication on school weekly activities (i.e. lunch menu, sports schedules etc.). A very important way to know what's going on in school for the week! This bulletin can be accessed on the left side bar on the TEMS website front page or on the TEMS PTO blast side bar.

The Student Directory is a valuable tool for parents. The directory gives you a way to contact families within your student's circle of friends.  Orders are due by Friday, September 18. Link to Pay by PayPal  or link to

Pay by Check directory payment.
