|
|
Greetings!
In this November issue we want to THANK YOU for your continued support and for sharing our newsletter. We hope the tips in this issue assist you in building better relationships with your customers, vendors and employees. In the end, showing gratitude to those you serve and to those who serve you, may just be one of the best roads to success!

Thank Your Customers
How often do you show your customers that their business really matters? As business owners we need to take the time to thank our customers. There are many ways to say thanks. It can be as simple as a verbal Thank You, a written note or can be more involved such as giving a gift card or selecting a gift that reflects your business.
Regardless of the method you choose, saying Thank You should be sincere and genuine. This is also a great way to build a partnership mentality and should consistently reflect the way you conduct your business. You'll leave a lasting impression and your customers may even thank you!

5 Ways to Show Gratitude to Your Employees
Now that we've talked about thanking your customers, let's talk about thanking your internal customers...your employees. Thanking your employees does not have to be costly or time consuming. Below is a list of 5 ways to show gratitude (for the full list see, 17 Ways to Show Your Employees Appreciation).
- Say "Thank you" often
- Provide flex time, when possible
- Recognize employee milestones and anniversaries
- Write notes of appreciation
- Purchase gift cards and reward to outstanding performance
Recognizing and appreciating the contributions of your team is the right move for success. It builds loyalty, increases productivity and may even create a happier workplace.

How to Write a Great Thank You Note
A well written 'Thank You' note is and always will be a classic gesture that not only reflects good manners, but may also give you an edge over your competition. In addition to helping to make you stand out, a genuine thank you may play a role in forging a mutually beneficial business relationship.
The challenge is that you must be genuine, and you need to balance professionalism with friendliness. Here is summary of 6 of the 11 steps outlined on Wiki Tips:
Don't delay- Format/Style matters
- Clearly express your gratitude
- Discuss the impact
- Compliment recipient
- Allude to the future
Not that creative? Consider using a pre-formatted Word template.
