The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is calling on all staff, board members and other supporters to take part of a nationwide grassroots campaign to protect and expand the Health Center Program. The Campaign for America's Health Centers aims to revitalize the health center movement and oppose budget cuts that will harm health centers and the people they serve. NACHC has developed a website brimming with resources for all advocates. Please visit their campaign website to learn more, and join us in this effort to enhance and protect health centers for millions of people in the United States.
NACHC is coordinating the next National Mobilization Call-In Day on Thursday, October 13th asking all health center advocates to call their Members of Congress and the White House to deliver a strong message in support of health centers. Click here for a guide developed by NACHC explaining how to place the calls and providing the Health Center message. You may also visit the campaign's website to sign the national petition.
If your time permits, there will be a prep call on October 12th at 2:00pm and all you need to do to participate is update your advocate profile with a direct phone number. Our friends at NACHC will call you on the hour.

In the communities of Allston. Brighton, Waltham and surrounding areas, JMSCHC is the medical home for more than 11,700 patients who receive compassionate and patient-centered care through 61,000 visits each year. Since 1974, JMSCHC has encouraged and supported patients in their efforts to take charge of their own health, advocated for patients to gain access to appropriate specialty and hospital services, and collaborated with other organizations to link patients to a broad array of community services.
