Step Up to Quality Family Child Care Overview Sessions
You are invited to join us for an information session on Ohio's Step Up To Quality Tiered Quality Rating & Improvement System (TQRIS) for Family SUTQ 5 star logoChild Care. The session is open to any licensed Type A or Type B Family Child Care ODJFS  program. This session, Overview of Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) Program Standards, will introduce programs to the SUTQ Program Standards for Family Child Care, and the timeline for Implementation.


School age Fun with Science!  

Active, creative, and hands-on SUTQ approved School Age trainings Students who regularly take part in fun but challenging science activities in school, afterschool care, youth programs, and clubs develop positive feelings and a greater interest in science careers.  They also become more engaged in learning.  The CCRC is thrilled to offer a special study group to help you add more STEM activities to your day with school age children and youth.  Explore, discuss, and practice activities that study electricity or flight at 2 trainings this April and May.  The trainer keeps you as active in the material as the children will be for you!

Come discover, explore, or reinforce for yourself the value of play for children.  Develop play-based activities to enhance children's learning and development.   The content will be connected to developmentally appropriate practices and current understanding of child development as well as classroom/childcare requirements.
