CCRC Business Center - to better serve you!
The CCRC consistently serves nearly 700 child care providers annually through professional development, technical assistance, coaching and one-on-one support aimed at equipping early care and learning program owners, administrators and teachers with the education they need to take informed business/program risks and make management decisions everyday.

Whether it is to become star rated, expand your business, raise fees or even contracting with local businesses for child care services, the CCRC is able to support and guide programs through the difficult process of CHANGE.
The CCRC Business Center provides program and business tools, services and innovation opportunities in multiple ways.

Think Tank
groups will be offered through regularly scheduled structured sessions/topics as well as more informal working sessions that include visiting programs, video conferences with programs of interest around the country and social networking and innovation sessions.

Got a Need, Fill a Need
the CCRC will be intentionally connecting owners, administrators, teachers and office staff with those who already have expertise, or are able to assist with peer support/guidance around very specific needs.  Connecting ECE professionals intentionally to begin to break down misconceptions and barriers that keep ECE programs operating alone and overwhelmed.

CCRC Services and Innovation
the CCRC has established services that allow ECE business owners, administrators and directors to automate daily program and business functions to free up time to focus on the many demands they face in raising the quality of care provided within their programs.
These Think Tank groups will focus on how to innovate and share services to support one another.

Improving your BAS scores

What is a BAS score?  The standards established in Step Up To Quality for Family Child Care include the Business Administration  Scale (BAS) as a means to meet criteria and improve business practice within your child care home business.  This group will dive into each area of the BAS and discuss what is required and how providers can meet the benchmark.
Participants will share innovation and resources already in place with each other.

Services and Innovation

The Service and Innovations groups are lead by interest in innovative ideas, shared service concepts and programs and professionals that are ready to transform their program to stronger, high quality programs.  Transformation requires an ability to see beyond daily issues.
Participants will join as they grow more confident and release some territorial issues.

Many business sectors have found ways over the years to share, work together and even share space or staff...finding economic efficiencies and strengthening their businesses.
ECE programs are much more territorial, creating and paying for individual business structures instead of sharing expertise and know how.

Through use of social media and direct contact with the CCRC staff, ECE providers will begin sharing their knowledge and expertise with each other.  So if you Got A Need, or can Fill A Need stay tuned for details.  The CCRC Facebook page, eNewsletter and website will announce information on how you can participate.
