Stay Informed About CCRC Cancellations and Closures!

When severe weather strikes, stay informed about CCRC cancellations and closures through:

i-Alert System - The CCRC posts emergency closures and  workshop cancellations on i-Alert, which is  channel 3 (WKYC), channel 19 (WOIO), channel 43 (WUAB), WVIZ/PBS, and NBC 24 Toledo, plus radio stations 1100 AM (WTAM), 99.5 (WGAR), 100.7 (WMMS), 105.7 (WMJI),  and 106.5 (WMVX).

 

Ohio Professional Registry - Training participants will also be notified of cancellations by phone, text, or e-mail, depending on which option is selected in your "account settings" in the notification preferences of your Ohio Professional Registry profile.   We will also leave a message on our  general  delivery mailbox at ext. 221, and post on the CCRC Facebook page.

The CCRC is offering the next levels of training Early Learning and Development Standards in the new year.  If you still need the Overview class, you can find this session at least once a month in our January-June 2014 Workshop Calendar.

Family Child Care DRAFT Program Standards available for Review & Comment!
We are pleased to share with you the draft Family Child Care Step Up To Quality Program Standards now available for public review and comment.  The draft Family Child Care Program Standards are applicable to both Type A large family child care homes and Type B small family child care homes. Please provide your feedback on the draft Family Child Care SUTQ Program Standards by December 20, 2013. SUTQ 5 star logo

   

 

   

Family Child Care  Step Up to Quality "Shining Star" Groups Starting in January!

Family Child Care Providers will be eligible to participate in Step Up to Quality in July 2014. The CCRC will be offering 3 "Shining Star" groups starting in January, which will walk family child care providers through the Step Up to Quality process, and prepare your family child care business for their initial star rating.
