Cleveland Kids In Need Resource Center, in conjunction with national nonprofit First Book , is distributing approximately 478,000 brand-new books.  Between 20,000-30,000 of those books are reserved for Lorain County.   Second Harvest Food Bank will pick up the books and bring them back to their warehouse for local distribution.  

  

TO RESERVE BOOKS:       

• Fill out the reservation sheet  and fax to The Stocker Foundation on or before August 2, 2013  (the sooner the better)
• Know that books will be distributed on a "first come, first serve" basis  -- however with the significant quantities available, I think we should be able to accommodate most requests.
• You will receive a telephone call directly from a Second Harvest Food Bank staff person when your order is ready for pick up   Lorain County Book Inventory

First Five Years Fund (FFYF) will release the Grow America Stronger campaign's new polling data about the extent of national support for early childhood. In a survey of 800 people across the U.S., FFYF found that Americans overwhelmingly support a federal plan that helps states provide better early childhood programs to low and middle-income families.
