Ellie: A Lymphoma Survivor
She was the kind of cat who we really hoped would never need our help again. As an abandoned kitten, Ellie and her brother dodged death from feline distemper virus thanks to donations from our St. Francis Fund. The illness left her with some quirky neurologic symptoms, including hearing loss and unpredictable aggression. She was adopted and since then, every time she visited Cats Exclusive, she emitted piercing shrieks that resonated throughout the hospital, instantly identifying her to all the staff that knew her. Turning 14 years old this year, she had been happy and healthy in all other respects.

Welcome Back Dr. Echentile
We are excited to have Dr. Echentile filling in for us. Many of you will recognize a familiar face and remember his gentle nature and soft touch with his patients. Dr. Echentile will be our relief doctor, covering vacation shifts and other personal time off. After leaving Cats Exclusive in 2008, he spent time working at Seattle's Atlantic Veterinary Hospital until 2013. Dr. Echentile shares a home with his cat, Vinnie and enjoys skiing, bike riding, hiking and the beach.

Wishing Dr. Brandon a Fond Farewell
Please join us in extending warm wishes to Dr. Sarah Brandon as she embarks on a new venture with her online company, Canna Companion. Dr. Brandon's last day with us was January 24, 2015. We have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Brandon since 2008. She has been a valuable addition to the Cats Exclusive team, providing compassionate care and knowledge to her patients and their families. Her endless energy and contagious sense of humor will be greatly missed. We certainly wish Dr. Brandon well and extend our heartfelt gratitude for her great service to our hospital, patients and clients.
