Getting ready for spring!
Even though Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, there are abundant signs of the much-anticipated arrival of spring here at the Wakefield Estate. The witchhazel is blooming, the first crocuses have pushed their way up through the grass in the orchard, and the songbirds' exuberant calls now fill the morning silence. Nature knows what lies ahead...and everything is getting ready!

As the days lengthen, so does our list of events being planned for this spring at the Wakefield Estate.  From our monthly stone soup discussions to workshops and tours, our spring calendar is filling up with a number of engaging events that you'll not want to miss.  Please visit the calendar page on our website for details and information.

See you soon!

Save the Date: Tour de Neponset
Saturday, March 21

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a bike ride along the historic Neponset River.
