Today is a good day to renew your membership or join Kokua Mau as an individual member.  Details below and thank you for your support.

Renew your 2017 Membership or Join Kōkua Mau now!

Now is a good time to put an easy New Year's resolution into practice (and get one thing accomplished already in the first weeks): join us or renew your Kōkua Mau membership for 2017 now. Your financial support is very important.

We've found a simple, fee-free way for you to pay your Kokua Mau membership electronically with just 3 quick clicks: PayPal Giving Fund.

If you have a PayPal account, you can donate to Kokua Mau through the PayPal Giving Fund and 100% of your donation goes to Kokua Mau. Please use this link to make your donation. The PayPal Giving Fund has a set template and you may have to enter the membership level you want to join manually. The rest is 3 easy clicks and you are done. An email confirming your donation should follow shortly thereafter. (If you do not have a PayPal account you cannot use this fee-free service.)

Please note: This is not the same as using a PayPal account with a "donate' button on a website.  If you donate inside of PayPal there is a fee. Only the PayPal Giving Fund donations are transaction fee free.

Making a tax-deductible donation is easy. You have 3 options:
  1. Go online and donate with a credit card
  2. If you have a PayPal Account use the PayPal Giving Fund and 100% of your 3 click donation comes to us fee free.
  3. A check in the good ol' US postal mail is still the best way to have no fees on either end (and you may use you canceled check for the IRS)
    3 steps:
  1. Write a check payable to 'Kōkua Mau' and put 'membership' in the memo field
  2. Get an envelope and address it to:
    Kōkua Mau
    PO Box 62155
    Honolulu HI 96839
  3. Stick on a stamp and put in the mailbox
Kōkua Mau, as a local non-profit, community-benefit organization is fueled by the passion of dedicated volunteers with a lean budget and every penny spent on making our work possible. (We are not a state agency or state funded!)

Your generous tax-deductible membership gift will allow us to have a real impact on improving quality of life for those with serious illness and their loved ones. (And yes, due to the beauty of the web the virtual mug is still available for the taking)

For over 17 years, Kōkua Mau has been a voice for outstanding hospice and palliative care and services in Hawai'i, providing high-quality information, trainings and ever growing networking opportunities.

We ask for your financial support and invite you to get involved.

Thank you for your support for Kōkua Mau!

Aloha United Way Campaign & Kokua Mau

It is that time of the year: The Aloha United Way Campaign started, which supports important organizations in our community.

For the second year we are honored to be part of it.  You can make a contribution specifically to Kōkua Mau by using our designation number 80410 on the Donor Designation Form (or the online version).

Please tell your colleagues, friends and loved ones who might be part of an AUW campaign as well. The coconut wireless is still the best way to spread the word about this wonderful opportunity to support Kōkua Mau.

Best wishes and Happy New Year. Please share your updates with us,

Jeannette Koijane
Executive Director
