It took 33 years of work to celebrate 20 years of community.
I cannot help but admire the folks who had the vision and the determination to make Emerald Heights the vibrant community it is today.
It took a strong vision driven by the insistence that Eastsiders shouldn't have to retire in the Seattle when it came time. They wanted their own version of a retirement life, in the same way they had carved out a lifestyle unique to their lifestyle in suburban Bellevue. But the quest for such a place was a long and challenging one!
