A Closer Look a Photography Exhibit by Melissa Gentle
Jaffrey Civic Center, Jaffrey, NH
|
The Jaffrey Civic Center is pleased to present Melissa Gentle's in-depth photographs in the first floor Display Cases from Friday, July 3 through Thursday, July 30.
Inspiration can bloom from many things, in my case it was family. Two grandmothers with an admirable amount of creativity have motivated me to explore and interpret the world in my own way. I began drawing as a child, and learned the techniques of painting from my grandmothers. I eventually realized photography was my true calling and became devoted to it. New Hampshire reveals many photographic opportunities, and more often than not, I find myself mesmerized by a single subject for hours at a time.
The Jaffrey Civic Center is located at 40 Main Street, Jaffrey, New Hampshire, next to Library, parking in rear. Hours are Tues: 10-6, Wed-Fri 1-5, Sat 10-2. Admission is always free.

Architecture, flora, fauna and the people who live in and among it all are the subjects for you to enjoy.
