Yarns on First
While here in Napa, it finally feels like fall, the holidays are now less than 2 months away! Have you begun working on your gifts yet? Don't panic!! We've got lots of great ideas for fun and fast projects, and have scheduled our very first knit-a-long with the holiday season in mind. We hope you'll join us!
Distinction Shawl
 Knit A Long

We love the idea of a knit-a-long and are very excited to be hosting our very first! We will offer tips and tricks along the way, as well as providing motivation for one another! For our first project, we have chosen a fairly simple pattern- one that will knit up quickly and make a lovely gift for someone on your list. Our knit-a-long will officially begin this Sunday, November 8th, and run through Sunday November 29th. Come in soon to buy your yarn, we'll provide the pattern, and you'll be entered into a prize raffle! Winner will be announced on the 29th.
Caitlin ffrench's fun and colorful shawl pattern, Distinction, uses one of our new favorite Malabrigo yarns, Mecha. Mecha is a bulky weight, single ply, with beautiful saturated colorways. The shawl pattern calls for 3 skeins of Mecha, and will knit up quickly on US size 11.
Along with our knit a long, we will be reviving our Sunday Sit and Stitch! Please join us this Sunday from 1:00-3:00pm, for some snacks and company! We will be starting our Distinction shawl, but feel free to come and work on any project!
