We had a wonderful vacation, full of friends, family, swimming, and knitting! We were thrilled to come back to the shop to find two enormous boxes of MadelineTosh yarn awaiting us, and you! We have two new yarn bases to introduce you to, as well as some gorgeous brand new colorways.

Twist Light
Twist Light is the newest yarn to the Madtosh family. It is a fingering weight blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon. As the name implies, it has a tight twist, that along with the nylon, creates a sturdy yet soft fabric. Perfect for socks, shawls or sweaters, this yarn will quickly become a favorite!

ASAP
Another new line for us is ASAP, a very aptly named yarn! As you would imagaine, it is a super bulky that works up incredibly quickly. ASAP is 100% superwash merino, and has a very silky hand. Perfect for last minute gifts or one skein accessories, it would also make a great cozy and super quick sweater!
I'm debating between Sylvia Bo Bilvia's adorable seed stitch cowl and this equally cute herringbone neckwarmer, designed by Breean Elyse. Both are free patterns on Ravelry and would both be so great in ASAP, it's hard to choose!

Merino Light
This classic Madelinetosh yarn is one of our favorites. We have over 30 stunning colorways of delicate single ply, fingering weight Merino Light. With a generous 420 yards per skein, one skein is more than enough yardage to complete a pair of socks and two skeins can complete a full-sized lace project.
We love Merino Light for multi-color shawls, such as Veera Välimäki's Color Affection. It's so fun to put together color combos!
Or, for a striking single color shawl, try Melanie Berg's elegant Kir Royale.
For a special sweater, try Boxy! This sweater is divine in Merino Light- very flattering, drapey and stylish!

Vintage
Tosh Vintage is our go to for worsted weight projects. At 200 yards of superwash merino per skein, it is perfect for sweaters or accessories that you will wear again and again!
One of our favorites for Vintage is the adorable Gramps cardigan, by TinCan Knits. This sweater was so popular for babies and kids, they re-wrote the pattern to include adult sizes! Another shop favorite is the Lucy Hat, by Carina Spencer. By reversing the colors in the pattern, you can get 2 hats out of 2 skeins of Vintage. Genius! |

Tosh DK
Working up at a versatile dk to light worsted gauge, Tosh DK is perfect for those looking for a slightly lighter yarn than Vintage. It has a soft, squishy hand, saturated colorways, and is a delight to work with!
And for the babies in your life, this adorable garter yoke sweater and matching cable cap is so sweet! We love it in the "Cosmic Wonder Dust" colorway. So fun! Both are free patterns with purchase, available at the shop!
