We're a little late but we wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very happy new year! January has turned out to be quite a hectic month and we are now finally able to take a breath from our busy holiday season. We are looking forward to a lots of good things to come in 2015!
We've just received a large shipment of Malabrigo, full of Rios, Worsted, Sock, Arroyo (Sport) and Lace weights. We've restocked our shelves with beautiful Isager yarn, one of our favorite lines. Their color palette is just lovely. If you are not familiar with these yarns, you really must come in and check them out! We have also expanded our selection of the Fibre Company's Acadia, a unique 2-ply yarn with a rustic look and soft hand.

February 8th we will be hosting a very special workshop with crochet instructor Dara Weyna. This is a workshop near and dear to Dara's heart, as it is based upon a project she launched a few years ago, following the death of her grandmother. The project is called You are Loved, and is, in a nutshell, about spreading love, sharing stories & giving from the heart. Dara has given hearts to friends in need of a little cheering up, oncology departments in hospitals, and to complete strangers!

Attendees must have some crocheting experience. Dara will assist in the heart construction, but will not be able to help absolute beginners. Please bring worsted weight yarn- acrylic is actually the best choice for this project and G or H hooks. We will have some extra yarn for those who need it.
This workshop will take place from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday February 8th, and is free of cost! Please do call to reserve your spot though, as we can only host a limited number. |
