A senior thesis production
directed by Tracy Bersley
This weekend only!
Friday - Sunday, January 10, 11 & 12 at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m.
Today through Sunday, January 12, the Program in Theater is presenting Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen and adapted by Christopher Shinn, directed by faculty member Tracy Bersley and featuring senior theater certificate student Sean Peter Drohan as Hedda. Drohan tackles one of theater's most complex and controversial female characters in Hedda Gabler, exploring what it means to not "fit" in one's world, one's home, or even one's body, leading to the climactic last line of the play, "People don't do such things." What has Hedda done? Performances will begin at 8:00 p.m., with a performance scheduled for Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Marie and Edward Matthews '53 Acting Studio at 185 Nassau Street. A talk back discussion with Jill Dolan, drag performer Hedda Lettuce, and cast members will follow the matinee performance on January 11. Tickets: $12 general admission; $10 for students and seniors. Call Princeton University Ticketing at 609.258.9220, visit princeton.edu/utickets/ or the Frist Campus Center Ticket Office.
