Patchogue Arts Festival Call for Sculptures

The
Patchogue Arts Festival (PAF) Returns October 1-31, 2016!


PAF takes place throughout the month of October at multiple venues in downtown Patchogue Village. PAF features music, visual arts, and cinema.

We are accepting submissions from sculptors to exhibit outdoor sculptures in the Patchogue Garden Club's Village Community Garden.
Multiple sculptures will be installed in the Patchogue Garden Club's Village Community Garden located on the corner of Terry St. and S. Ocean Ave. Sculptors are encouraged to submit existing works for consideration.

Artists will receive a stipend from $500.00 to $750.00 for works that are selected. The Visual Arts Committee of the Patchogue Arts Council will review all submissions. All artwork will be on view outside, in public spaces, and must abide by safety protocol and procedures.
Submissions Details
  • Email submissions are due ON September 18, 2016
  • Submissions received AFTER September 18, 2016 will not be considered
  • Accepted artists will be notified by email by September 23, 2016
  • Subject line must include: PAFSculpture2016_ArtistName
  • Email your submissions to: info@patchoguearts.org
  • Only submission to this email address will be considered
Email Submission Guidelines
Please submit 2 images total of sculpture using the following specifications:
  • All files should be labeled with your name and title of work Ex:Yourname_titleofwork.jpg
  • Please include the dimensions and detailed installation instructions for each work
  • The body of your email must include the image
Important Information
  • Collaborations are permitted; stipends are per sculpture and not per artist
  • There is no fee to submit
  • All artwork must survive unpredictable weather for one month
  • Only digital submissions sent by September 18, 2016 will be considered
  • Submissions must include images for existing work
  • Temporary Sculpture Installation September 24-30: Artists will be expected to install their sculpture between these dates
  • Removal of Artwork November 1-8: Artists will be expected to retrieve their installation/sculpture between these dates
