Meet the Artists of New Voices on February 28 at 1:00 PM

New Voices, the current exhibition at the Patchogue Arts Gallery, presents the work of five younger artists working on Long Island. They will each explain what they are expressing through their work while they tell the story of how they came to be making art in this time and place. It will be an excellent opportunity for art students both in college and in high school to imagine future possibilities in art for themselves.

After all talks are completed there will be a period of individual questions and answers. We hope you can join us.

Creatively Yours,
The Patchogue Arts Council Board of Trustees

Norma
Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu

Saturday, February 27 at 10:30 AM
Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 PM

This new production stresses the ritual aspects of the drama. In Roman-dominated Gaul, the high priestess Norma has broken her vow of chastity by entering a relationship with the Roman pro-consul. The birth of their two children has been kept secret, but when she discovers she has a rival, jealousy sets in. Norma is a classical heroine, passionate and revengeful, and her dilemma provides the starting point for the most successful work by one of the last and greatest composers of bel canto, Vincenzo Bellini.

*Optional at an additional charge during intermission: Saturday Brunch catered from Goldberg's Famous Bagels. Top it off with a Mimosa, fine wine, or craft beer. Thursday Evening Cheese Platters are catered from The Cheese Patch. Pair with a fine wine or craft beer from Plaza's Blue Velvet Lounge.
