Men Honoring Women

The Patchogue Arts Council is pleased to announce it is accepting submissions from male artists for inclusion in its upcoming exhibition Men Honoring Women. The exhibition will run from March 12 to April 24 with an opening reception on Saturday, March 12, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Celebration of Women's History Month typically highlights the art of women. Men Honoring Women is an opportunity for men to acknowledge the importance of the feminine in contemporary society. Male artists local to the metropolitan area are invited to submit works of art that address topics such as the Mother Goddess, the Sacred Feminine, the Earth Mother, the achievements of women, and the importance of women in history. Priority will be given to archetypal over individual imagery.

Submissions are due January 30, 2016. Submissions must be emailed to info@patchoguearts.org with Men_Honoring_Women_ArtistName in the subject line. Visit https://patchoguearts.org/men-honoring-women/ for full submission details and guidelines.
