NYCAS Patchogue Events
Join us at Shand's Loft Gallery at the BrickHouse from 2:00-3:00 PM for a reception celebrating Artists in Motion, an exhibit celebrating artists that travel for inspiration. Then join us for Made in Romania at Gallery 40 located at 40 S. Ocean Ave featuring photos by NYCAS 2015 artist Andrei Budescu.

Thank you for the tremendous support you showed for PAC MAC 2015. The festival was a huge success thanks to all the participating artists, all of the fiscal sponsors, and of course, you for coming out to all the events! We are already thinking forward to 2016.

This Saturday, October 24, we would like to invite you to join us at the Patchogue events associated with the New York Contemporary Arts Symposium (NYCAS). NYCAS is a program of the Islip Art Museum and is conducted in collaboration with D. Fleiss East West Artists.

NYCAS brings artists and art professionals from around the world together to form new networks, foster international connections, develop cross-cultural understanding, and cultivate cooperation. The 2015 symposium provides nine international and three national artists with housing, studio space, all meals, trips to cultural centers, and selected artist supplies at no cost. Lifting these financial burdens frees the artists to explore their creativity with themselves and the surrounding community through a series of public events arranged by the Islip Art Museum in East Islip and the Patchogue Arts Council in Patchogue.

PAC is pleased to collaborate with NYCAS. Please join us Saturday as we meet with the international artists and enjoy an afternoon of exhibitions in Patchogue.

We hope to see you then,
The Patchogue Arts Council Board of Trustees
