DON PASQUALE
Opera in Cinema
Saturday, September 19 at 10:30 AM
Thursday, September 24 at 6:30 PM

Sparkling like a magnum of champagne, a dazzlingly constructed play of light and shadow, Donizetti's DON PASQUALE has always been an audience favorite. Set in a sunny garden, a Renaissance faade, and a stuffy salon that re-emerges in the third act furnished in garish pinks and reds, it is a marvel of imagination. Conductor Nello Santi whips the action on with verve and brio letting the elegiac moments breathe and infusing the entire production with the rousing spirit that makes the opera so beloved.

*Optional at an additional charge following the screenings: Saturday Brunch catered from Goldberg's Famous Bagels. Top it off with a Mimosa, fine wine, or craft beer. Thursday Evening Cheese Platters are catered from The Cheese Patch. Pair with a fine wine or craft beer from Plaza's Blue Velvet Lounge
