The Tempest

This culminating masterpiece of Shakespeare's career pits the desire for revenge against the demands of love and asks if man is capable of creating a brave new world. Captured live in high definition over three performances from the renowned Stratford Festival starring stage star and screen legend Christopher Plummer, this spectacular and gripping play is captured by 14 high definition cameras that give viewers an upfront and intimate theatrical experience unlike any other.

For an additional cost, the Saturday morning screenings feature brunch by Goldberg's Famous Bagels and a mimosa, wine, or beer from The Plaza's Blue Velvet Lounge; the Thursday evening screenings feature a cheese platter from The Cheese Patch to pair with select wines or beers from The Plaza's Blue Velvet Lounge.

The  Huntington Arts Council is seeking submissions for "I See Me!", a juried exhibition featuring self-portraits. Submissions may include, but are not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, collage and photography. Juror Lynn Rozzi is the Director of the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery at Nassau County Community College. Lynn is an artist as well as a lecturer on contemporary art and the transformative power of art.
