Patchogue Sketch Club
The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form; sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera.

For more information about upcoming sketch outings and gatherings visit their blog at

The Patchogue Arts Council and Herstory Writer's Workshop invites you to join our ongoing memoir-writing workshop, Bridges To Justice.  Join men and women from all walks of life as they share their true stories about their efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive world.  Erika Duncan, Herstory founder, novelist, and former writer for
The New York Times Long Island Weekly, facilitates this free weekly workshop designed to unite and inspire our community.  No writing experience is necessary, simply the desire to connect through your story and the stories of the other participants.

The Bridges To Justice workshop meets every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to Noon at the Patchogue Arts Gallery located at 20 Terry St. in Patchogue.  It was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Knapp-Swezey Foundation, Briarcliffe College, and the New York State Council on the Arts.   For more information, email [email protected].
