Titus Kana is a fine art photographer who has shown his work in exhibitions across Long Island and in New York City. He was elected to the board of the Patchogue Arts Council in 2013 and is a founding member of the PAC Photography Club. Titus has been interested in photography all of his life. He first picked up the camera while still in high school, taking up landscapes and seascapes as his subject matter. In 1981 he began his professional career in New York City as a fashion and beauty photographer. Over the years he developed a mastery of digital imaging and has a wide range of computer programs under his belt. His painterly black and white photographs of Fire Island are achieved through utilizing a technique that combines infrared photography with colorization that creates a dynamic range of tones.
