Log Jam Has A New Date!
Join us for Log Jam 4, a day of music and art at the Blue Point Brewery, 161 River Ave., Patchogue, on Saturday, June 29, from 1:00 - 7:00 PM. The Log Jam series has become one of PAC's most popular fundraisers.
 
Any PAC Member in good standing who can set up and display their art should contact jcinosculptor@gmail.com.

Members Exhibition: PAC POTPOURRI

Patchogue Arts Council's Summer 2013 Member Show

  • Open to all artist members of the Patchogue Arts Council
  • No entry fee -Now's the time to join or renew your membership!
  • Two- and three-dimensional work
  • Size limited to 48 inches in width
  • Work must be wired and ready for hanging
  • Juror:  Beth Giacummo, Museum Exhibition Director, Islip Arts Museum
Important Dates:
  • June 27, 28, 29:  All artists' submissions are due - Each artist may submit two works for consideration. Works are to be dropped off at Patchogue Arts Gallery, 20 Terry St., Patchogue, between the hours of 9:00 - 11:00 AM and 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
  • July 2:  Selection notifications - A PAC representative will notify all artists via email and/or phone once the juror has made her selections.
  • July 8 - 9:  All work not chosen must be picked up. Due to space limitations we cannot hold work. If you cannot pick up unselected work, please appoint a representative to do so.
  • July 13: Exhibition opens with a reception from 5:00 - 7:30 PM.
  • August 17: Exhibition closes.
  • August 17 - 19:  All exhibited work must be picked up.
    All artists selected for the exhibit must make arrangements for their work to be picked up August 17 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM;  August 18 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM; and August 19 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.

Recycled Material Artists Needed - The South Country Education Foundation is seeking art teachers or artists that sculpt with recycled materials to instruct during its Students 4 Art summer camp. Patchogue Sketch Club
The Patchogue Sketch Club was created for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form; sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera.
