Recycled Material Artists Needed - The South Country Education Foundation is seeking art teachers or artists that sculpt with recycled materials to instruct during its Students 4 Art summer camp. East End Arts Council, Riverhead, NY - Call for street painting artists and fine artisan/craft vendors for East End Arts' 17th Annual Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival, May 26 from noon to 5:00 PM. Artists are invited to exhibit and sell their work in the fine arts & crafts market, as well as to participate in the street painting activities. Fine Artisan & Crafts Vendors are invited to submit photos of their original work for consideration for the fine art and craft sale held outdoors. Artists and artisans may reserve a 10' x 10' space for a $50 for EEA members, or $150 for non-members. Street Painting Artists that are over the age of 14 are encouraged to register in advance. Pre-registered street painters will be matched with a sponsored square on a first-come-first-serve basis. Chalk and blending materials are provided. It is recommended that street painters bring kneepads and a hat. Artwork must be suitable for public viewing. No words or symbols intended as advertising may appear within the image, however artists may sign their names. Registration deadline: May 15. Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) - Artists from all across the Long Island and Metro areas are invited to enter BACCA's 24th Annual Judged Art Exhibition which will take place in June. The show will be held at the Old Town Hall at 47 West Main Street, Babylon. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded to the winning artists and the Awards Reception is open to the public.
