PATCHOGUE, NY - March 5, 2013 - The Patchogue Arts Council is pleased to announce the confirmed venues as of today for the first "South By South Shore Music & Arts Festival," a cultural celebration in the Village of Patchogue April 2 - 7, 2013.
During the week of April 2 - 7, 2013, a broad variety of music, film and poetry will be presented at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, 89 North Music Venue, Roast Coffee and Tea Trading Company, The Brickhouse Brewery, The Tap Room, Bobbique, and Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center. Additional venues are being added daily. The 1st Annual South By South Shore Music and Arts Festival will provide an opportunity for families and friends, locals and visitors, to experience all the village has to offer while listening to heart-stopping folk melodies, getting down to funky beats, and enjoying local arts, eats, and entertainment. To add a festive atmosphere to the event, plans are in the works to incorporate a Saturday night New Orleans' style "Sidewalk Promenade" passing the venues participating in the festival. In addition to the participating venues, the festival is also made possible through the generous support of our sponsors: WEHM, Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company, 89 North Music Venue, Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, Brickhouse Brewery, Blue Point Brewery, Bobbique, and Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center.
