Dear Friend of the Patchogue Arts Council,
As we approach our fifth year we wish to thank all our supporters whose generosity has allowed us to continue to fulfill our mission to encourage, support, and promote the arts. Our many programs have achieved wide success and critical acclaim. Our largest event, the Patchogue Arts Biennial, is coming up in 2013. This four week long event showcases the work of Long Island artists from Brooklyn and Queens all the way to Montauk, introducing thousands of visitors to Patchogue's vibrant contemporary arts community.
In addition to the Biennial, 2013 brings the first exciting South Shore Music Festival; the continuation of our collaboration with Herstory Writers Workshop; another year filled with current, contemporary visual arts hosted at the Patchogue Arts Gallery, Lobby Arts Gallery, and Community Connections; professional development workshops for artists; and much more. The Patchogue Arts Council will continue to bring a variety of programming to the community at little to no cost to participants that fulfill our mission. The all-volunteer staff works hard to write grants and raise funds to mount exhibitions, bring programs to fruition, and run our gallery, and for that we ask for your continued financial support. We ask you to think about the impact of our council's efforts on the community at large - study after study has shown that for every dollar spent on the arts, the financial return back into the community is outstanding.
*A fully tax deductible end-of-year donation to the Patchogue Arts Council will help us and the community throughout the coming year. No donation is too small or too large. Please give as generously as you can, knowing you are making a worthwhile investment in a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Gratefully yours, Beth Giacummo 20 Terry St, Suite 116 Patchogue, NY 11772 631-627-8686 *Your contribution may be tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Please consult with your tax professional.
