Robert/Bob Carter: Both Sides Now
on exhibit through December 21
Robert Carter's paintings speak of the human spirit addressed through two distinct bodies of work, one of dignity, the other of whimsy. His work is represented in museums and collections throughout the country and has been published in numerous books and periodicals.
Mr. Carter has instructed many as a professor of drawing, painting, and design at Nassau Community College. Throughout the 1980's and 1990's he visited Long Island schools, including most of those in the Patchogue-Medford District, where he inspired numerous students. His work is still hanging in many of those schools.
