Green beans and peas are being planted this month in 18 CitySprouts school gardens in Cambridge, Boston & Lynn. As the plants grow, students record and graph the vine measurements as part of math class and then they get to taste the fruit of their labor fresh off the vine!

Beautiful red tulips planted by Ms. Griggs' first graders at the Cambridgeport School in Cambridge, MA are part of
Journey North, an international science experiment. Students plant tulip bulbs in their school gardens in the fall. As the tulips awaken and bloom, students announce the arrival of spring in their part of the world.
