1. FHS Commencement will stream LIVE on June 1

FHS Commencement will take place on Monday, June 1, at 6:45 p.m. For those who cannot attend the event, please tune in to our USTREAM channel for a live broadcast of the event. 

2. FHS Junior Tristan Irvin scores a perfect 36 on ACT exam

Congratulations to FHS junior Tristan Irvin who earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam. On average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of all test takers earn a top score while 1,407 of 1.85 million students earn a perfect 36. Tristan will be honored at the end-of-year awards ceremony at FHS on Friday, May 29.


3. FHS featured in U.S. News & World Report's 2015 Best High Schools Rankings

Fairview High School recently was recently awarded a silver medal in U.S. News & World Report's 2015 Best High Schools Rankings.


Fairview High School ranked 124th in Ohio, and 2,204 nationwide.

5. Treasurer's Department snags two prestigious awards   

Special congrats to the Treasurer's Department for earning the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International's Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for excellence in budget presentation. 

The awards highlight the district's commitment to financial accountability and transparency.
