1. Become Inspired by Student Art
If you haven't had a chance to attend this year's annual student art show, you still have time! Take a few minutes this week to visit the high school to view dozens of amazing pieces of student art, photography, sculpture and more! Here's a sneak peek!

2. Treasurer's Department snags two prestigious awards
Special congrats to the Treasurer's Department for earning the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International's Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for excellence in budget presentation.
The awards highlight the district's commitment to financial accountability and transparency. (FPCS Financial Team pictured below).

3. Bike Parade Rescheduled for Monday, May 12
The Gilles-Sweet Bike parade has been rescheduled for Monday, May 12, at 8:45 a.m. Those that participate in the event will be entered into a drawing for one of two new bikes! Students who wear a helmet will receive an extra entry into the drawing. Read more.

5. Education Foundation Golf Outing Set for August 4
The 4th-annual Fairview Park Education Foundation Golf Outing will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation's teacher education grant program. Support a great cause and register now!
