Greetings!

This is the time of year that many of us reflect on the things we are most grateful for - specifically, we wanted to, our volunteers and to all of the people who support our mission to deliver healing Pet Therapy to At-Risk Children.

With grateful hearts,
   Gabriel's Angels

A Year of  Thanks to Our Volunteers and Supporters!

Because of you...

A child will learn how to trust and form healthy emotional bonds.
A child will learn to be confident of him/herslf and feels in control of a situation.
A child will learn to control their emotions (such as fear and anger) and to cooperate with children or  adults.
A child will learn to have the capacity to affiliate in group activities and to participate in groups as either a leader or a follower.
A child will learn to have the awareness and the capacity to recognize and respond to the needs, interests, strengths and values of others.
A child will learn to be tolerant and have the capacity to understand and respect how others are different, and to become more accepting of themselves.
A child will learn to have respect and appreciate his/herself own self-worth and will begin building their own self-esteem.

Be  Thankful...
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know everything,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference!
