1. Recognize that money is an emotional issue - For many men who are wired to be providers, money brings up issues of self-worth, so they take financial conflict to heart. For many women, money represents security, so problems or disputes can bring anxiety and even fear about survival. Tip: Choose a time when you're both relaxed and not rushed to start talking about money issues.

If the weather is too frightful to play outside, or if your kids are longing for snow, try one of these indoor winter activities. Play with pretend snow, grow crystals, jazz up plain old playdough, paint like Jack Frost or create three-dimensional painted snowpeople to liven up a dreary winter afternoon. |

Mom Review: Sonic Boom Bat and Ball Set

Crack...whoosh...boom! As I stood by watching my father, husband and son try out the Sonic Boom, I quickly agreed the name of this bat and ball set is certainly accurate. Baseball roots run deep in our family, so my son already has a garage full of equipment: bats, balls, a tee and a glove.
