Free Community Shred Day to be hosted by OSU Federal
OSU Federal, Your Community Credit Union, invites the community to a free community document shred day on Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the North Albany Village shopping center. The event will include support and presence from the Albany Police Department and their community education effort toward combating identity theft.
Hosted by OSU Federal as a community service, anyone can bring up to three boxes of outdated documents such as old checks or outdated materials with personal information. Documents will be securely shredded onsite for free, with easy drive-n-drop in the North Albany Village parking lot through 1 p.m. or until the shred truck is full.
This will be the first of three 2014 OSU Federal shred day events within its field of membership. The second will be at the Benton County Fairgrounds on June 21 and the final opportunity will be September 13 at the Safeway-based OSU Federal branch on River Road in Keizer.
