Benton Hospice Service
Jason Phillips, MD, Assistant Medical Director for Benton Hospice Service and physician at Samaritan Internal Medicine recently earned board certification in hospice and palliative medicine from the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Requirements include successful completion of specific education, training and examination requirements. Certification demonstrates Dr. Phillips' commitment to providing quality care in assessing and managing the physical, psychological and spiritual suffering of patients with life-limiting illness and their families.
Benton Hospice Service provides professional, compassionate care to residents of Linn and Benton counties who are experiencing a serious illness, as well as help for their families. Caregiver and grief support are offered to the entire community

Women In Business:
"Live, Love and Lean-2013"
My advice for people who want to improve their fitness is: "Persistence leads to payoff." So many times people give up because they don't see results quickly. It's such an "American way": I want it and I want it now. But health & fitness, whether it's losing weight or training for a triathlon, takes time. I remind my participants regularly that if nothing changes, nothing changes.
