OSU Federal Credit Union
Credit Unions for Kids

Two of the in-state Children's Miracle Network hospitals will benefit from $25,000 generated through an internal campaign at OSU Federal, Your Community Credit Union.

The Corvallis-based credit union's staff dedicated $15,000 out of their own pockets to show their support for the credit union industry with the knowledge that they were also making great things possible through an OSU Federal commitment for a dollar-for-dollar match to the Credit Unions for Kids program. In addition, OSU Federal was granted a match of $10,000 from one of their business partners, CO-OP Financial Services. The proceeds will benefit Kids/Children's Miracle Network programs at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland and Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.

January Chamber Forum
 Engage! Linn-Benton Community College

Presented by: Greg Hamann

"LBCC Engages Students in local Community Cultural Richness & Economic Vitality."

With a new mission that focuses on engagement, LBCC is undertaking an education redesign to help students finish what they start and participate in, contribute to and benefit from all our communities offer and need.

The efforts dovetail with statewide goals to increase degree attainment with a growing focus on funding schools for how many lives they measurably transform rather than exclusively on how many credits they grant.

LBCC President Greg Hamann will share the college's vision and progress during a Chamber forum on January 9. Don't miss it.
