PLHS Invites All Future Pointers
K-8 Track Meet, Saturday  May 11, 2013

Please join PLHS for a K-8 Track Meet, featuring both running and field events! 

 
This event will take place on the PLHS Field on May 11th with opening ceremonies at 8:45am. "Teams" are being formed on each cluster campus.

STEM Program Offered for Girls
After School at Dana May 14 - June 4

The Imagine Junior program is designed to inspire our next generation of leaders in science through piquing middle school girls' interest in the variety of exciting and cutting-edge careers available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics(STEM) Learn more about this after school opportunity, which is $12 or free for Girls Scouts at www.danamiddle.com.

Stand Up Paddle and Kayak Camp

June 24-28  -  9am to noon or July 22-26 - 9am to noon

Age groups 8 - 16 will be taught boat safety and handling, introductory or improved paddling techniques and experience fun and teamwork with other kids. More info  on their website:

Cabrillo National Monument invites students to join them in celebrating 100 years as San Diego's National Park by participating in the100 Years 100 Ideas Essay Contest. Contest open to students 4th-12th grade.  Deadline, midnight August 31st, 2013.  Details posted at www.pointlomacluster.com.
