 MONDAY MORNING LEADERSHIP TIP #227
10 Habits for Healthy Relationships

#10 Solve Arguments Peacefully

During times of conflict, keep your voice calm and your demeanor steady. You will reach a better place much quicker than if you let your emotions take the lead.

#9 Spend Quality Time Together

Regardless of what kind of relationship you have, quality time spent together can strengthen it.

relationships#8 Help Each Other Grow

Support each other to change and do new things, achieve goals and dreams.

#7 Trust Each Other

Trust is one of the most important words in a relationship. It sets boundaries and limitations.

#6 Respect Each Other

Respect is different than trust. You both are different individuals. You don't have to agree, but you do need to respect each other's choices in life.

#5 Don't be 'Fair-Weathered'

Be there when the going gets tough.

#4 Don't Compete With Them

The point of being in a relationship is to strengthen each other, not compete with them just to make them feel inferior to you.

#3 Listen

Paying attention; really listen. It is a priceless gift.

#2 Pray for each other

Whatever prayer means for you, let it be a gift to those you are in relationship with.

#1 Keep Realistic Expectations

Both of you are human and you need to keep expectations realistic. As long as a firm grip on reality is kept, even the most challenging relationship can thrive.
