Life-Long Learning at Luther Seminary
Life-Long Learners from the Northeastern MN Synod gathered at Luther Seminary June 27-30 to participate in the wonderful Lay School sessions offered there. Of the 38 persons registered, sixteen were from the NE MN Synod! Always a favorite for us, Karoline Lewis presented, "Come and See: Discipleship According to the Gospel of John". Adult learners also enjoyed the other presenters and topics included: Mark Granquist w/"Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam"; Gary Simpson w/"Luther and Politics" and Lois Malcolm w/"Luther and the Holy Spirit." Anyone interested in learning are welcome to register/attend these classes - you do not need to be an enrolled student in the School of Lay Ministry to come and learn!
The Life-Long Learning session at Luther Sem will be Nov. 28-30. Topics include: "Congregational w/Dwight Zscheile; and "Martin Luther-A Grand Assortment of Insights: Luther's Understanding of Jesus Christ, Luther Around the World Today and Luther and Ordinary Life (vocation)" taught by Mary Jane Haemig, Guillermo Hansen and Steve Paulson. Tuition: $100.
