When I announced my campaign, I mentioned that no Certified Public Accountant had ever served as Comptroller in our state's history and that I would be the first.

 

The Austin American Stateman's PolitiFact decided to see for themselves and they agreed with me - we've never had a CPA serve as our state's Comptroller - TRUE.
