2015 is off to a great start as our industry continues to improve. We're seeing more plants running with additional shifts added in many plants around the world. Customers are investing in their employees' education with several in-plant training courses held this year. Our Blockmakers Workshops® kick off in April with the Concrete Masonry Technology and Vibrapac® courses. Our first-ever Servopac class will be held 9-13 March 2015 at Fay Block in Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA. This week we'll be at the ICON-Xchange hosted by the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) in San Antonio, Texas, USA. We look forward to discussing how we can support improving plant operations with those attending. Earlier this month our team was at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Nevada USA with over 55,000 industry professionals attending. Next week we'll be at the United Kingdom Concrete Show, followed by the Precast Show in Orlando, Florida USA.  Besser Makes Impact at World of Concrete Besser exhibited our complete line of equipment and services for the global concrete products industry at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Nevada from 3-6 February 2015.  Successful PAC Series Training Course Held
Over 30 students attended a Dynapac® / Ultrapac® / Superpac® course held 26-30 January 2015 at Bauer Company in Worthington, Pennsylvania USA. Besser instructors led the class and covered the high production Besser three-, four-, five- and six-at-a-time concrete products machines.

 Besser Bolsters Support for Pipe Producers
Assisting pipe producers, by expanding the availability of support services to improve plant productivity and pipe quality, is a major focus for Besser Company. Jerry Cowden, sales consultant, and Scott Kennedy, longtime Besser technical service consultant, will concentrate their efforts on assisting producers who are realizing increased demand for limited capacity while hiring new employees and transitioning staff to new positions.

VanSickle Concludes Career
Randy VanSickle, a longtime Besser Sales Representative, retired at the end of 2014. He concluded a rewarding 40 year career that began iwht Besser in the 1970s as a technical service representative. Two very experienced professionals, Sales Representatives Jeff Lindberg and Terry McNamee are assisting customers with their equipment, molds, parts and technical service needs. Continue Reading
