Lafarge Purchases Quality Besser Manufactured Curing System

Lafarge Precast recently purchased a Besser Vapor Generator (BC50-2S) for use in their plant located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  The Vapor Generator was the first sale of a Besser manufactured curing system and will be installed in Lafarge's main structural facility that produces precast elements for the Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Infrastructure markets in Western Canada.

Jason Rabasse, CET, Sales Manager, commented, "Lafarge Precast contacted Besser with a request for proposal on a new curing system for our Edmonton precast prestressed bridge elements.  From the start Besser took the time to listen and understand what our specific requirements were. Their professional sales and technical staff were able to understand our requirements and develop a cost-effective, state-of-the-art curing system for the task.  We are looking forward to doing more with Besser in the future." Lafarge Precast is a recognized leader in the marketplace for providing custom precast solutions tailored to their client's needs. Lafarge is a single-source supplier for entire projects, from pre-construction engineering through design, production and erection.

Besser used custom simulation software to design Lafarge's system to satisfy their specific curing needs.   Lafarge's BC50-2S, like all Besser Curing Systems, was engineered to deliver accurate temperature and humidity control, optimum timing in the curing environment, insulation and air control that provides proper circulation and energy savings. The Besser technical service team provides installation and training on how to operate the system to maximum efficiency.
