Besser has amassed decades of experience performing this service for producers around the globe. All are extremely pleased with the performance of their equipment following the rebuild. Regardless of the piece of equipment the first step in the process is assessment. When rebuilding a machine in the field, a Besser technical service representative evaluates the machine with the operator and/or maintenance supervisor to identify which components need to be replaced. Industry professionals gathered to attend the Executive Session at the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) in August. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the processes of running a block plant, how to reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve processes.
The next course is Concrete Masonry Technology, 16-20 September 2013. Students will quickly see their return on investment after learning what it takes to produce concrete masonry units and how to improve efficiencies in all aspects of blockmaking. The course will also cover mix designs, batching, material grading and blending, cementitious material, admixes, pigment and curing. Industry Professionals Visit the USA
In early July a group of industry professionals from South Korea and the Ukraine toured two Besser equipped production facilities in California. The group from Gyeongi-Do Concrete Production (the South Korean equivalent of the National Concrete Masonry Association) and Volodymyr Surup of Beton Complex in Ukraine, accompanied by Natasha Arkhipenko, Besser sales representative for Russia, visited ORCO Block Company's plant in Riverside and Rialto Concrete Products Pipe plant in Rialto.
