Dear Friends, Bauma 2013 served as a tremendous reminder of how amazing our industry is. Our stand was busy with sales discussions for the entire seven day trade fair with producers interested in expanding their product lines, finding niche products and learning how we can help improve their product quality, processes and ultimately profitability. It was in Munich that we sold our first Curing System engineered and manufactured by Besser and announced our newly forged strategic alliance with the CDS Group. We're excited to be working with an experienced and reliable team. We're able to provide software simulations that clearly identify what's happening in the curing chamber. This is a valuable tool to ensure that the system we're proposing meets your expectations and, when used in existing plants, it profiles the existing chambers to identify deficiencies and engineer corrective measures to improve the process. We continue to provide parts and ongoing support for all Curing Systems. The importance of an educated workforce was a topic in many conversations. The link between proper training and improved plant operation, product quality, maintenance and safety practices was evident. As plants become increasingly busier there has been a considerable increase in the number of students attending Blockmakers Workshops® at the World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT). So far in 2013 WCCT has held six courses; five additional courses are scheduled this fall beginning with the Executive Session 13-15 August. And, to keep the momentum going we're including a training session for one of your staff with any new equipment or service contract signed in 2013.
