The World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT) announced today that they will be holding an
Executive Session in Alpena, Michigan USA 13-15 August 2013. This year WCCT has held eight Blockmakers Workshops with 64 graduating students. "It's exciting to see the economy pick up and the enthusiasm from the students attending the workshops. We are excited to host our students in our community in addition to the classroom," stated Don MacMaster, WCCT Director. This year students have traveled from around the world to attend courses including Concrete Masonry Technology, Vibrapac, and Electronic Controls.
By attending the
Executive Session, upper management and those not involved in the day-to-day plant operations will have an opportunity to learn more about the processes of running a block plant. From executives to dispatchers, financial managers to sales representatives, everyone will benefit from learning more about what it takes to produce a concrete masonry unit. Students will learn how to reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve processes.
Register today to attend this 2-1/2 day session, seats are limited and early registration is encouraged. For more information please contact
