Besser Debuts New Products at the Precast Show
Besser introduced BSV Vibration for cam machines and a Box Grade Ring Battery Form to attendees and also showcased Vision 3 Pipe Machine Automation, the Besser Connector, PaveDrain and Omni Block. Concrete furniture produced on a big board machine, readily available machine and mold parts, and our comprehensive services were highlighted. Besser staff, serving the masonry, hardscape, pipe and precast markets, met with producers from the USA, Canada and several other nations to learn about the status of their business, what their forecasts are for 2013 and how we can help them achieve their goals. The sales team is actively following up on leads and is pleased with the show attendance which totaled more than 3500.
The Precast Show was held 11-13 January 2013 in Indianapolis and was sponsored by the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA), Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA) and the Cast Stone Institute. Besser and Oldcastle Architectural co-sponsored the ICPI, NCMA and NPCA Foundation Raffle. The $5000 cash prize was won by Dave Dimmick, executive director of the New England Concrete Masonry Association.
In conjunction with the show our national associations held their meetings. Besser staff participated in and chaired committee and board meetings, conducted training, including the Pipe short course and the Block Boot Camp, networked at social functions and helped to shape the future of the industry through their contributions. The Precast Show 2014 is being held in Houston, Texas.
