This Saturday evening, June 6 at 8:00 PM, Greater New Haven Community Chorus will end its 51st season by presenting our annual spring concert.
This year's concert -- Songs of Sanctuary -- will explore the many sanctuaries of the human existence - from love and marriage, to spiritual refuge, inner reflection, friendship, music and more. The program will feature Haydn's Te Deum, and the music of Jenkins, Whitacre, Hogan, and others.
The performance will take place at 8:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 292 Orange Street (at the corner of Wall Street) in New Haven, under the direction of Noah Blocker-Glynn, Artistic Director, with Mark Sullivan, Accompanist.
GNHCC will be holding a reception immediately following the performance at Trinity Lutheran Church. All concert attendees are invited for refreshments and desserts, and to meet the creative team and singers.
Tickets are $15 in advance from a GNHCC chorus member or online at www.gnhcc.org, and $20 at the door the evening of the performance.
Online Will Call ticket sales will be available until Friday evening June 5, at 8:00 PM. The ticket desk will open at 7:15 PM the evening of the performance for Will Call ticket purchases made online, and for onsite ticket sales.
Doors will open at 7:30 PM for general seating.

GNHCC Quilt Raffle

GNHCC will be raffling off a handmade quilt on June 11 -- and it could be yours! Tickets are available from a GNHCC chorus member and will also be available at our concert this Saturday evening, June 6. Tickets are $1.00 each and the drawing will take place on Thursday evening, June 11 at the GNHCC Members' End of Year Party.
This beautiful queen sized quilt is titled Chloe's Castle and has been handmade by several members of GNHCC. The fabrics are in shades of purple and blues with a white pinwheel twirling around the body of the quilt.
